Lake County residents and businesses also have the option to drop off their recyclables at several recycling centers throughout the county. Recycle anytime, but we prefer if you use the drop-off centers between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday. On Sundays and holidays we rest, too! The centers accept: newspaper, cardboard, aluminum and steel cans; clear, brown and green glass bottles; plastic milk and water bottles, pop bottles and colored detergent bottles.
