LEAF DROP-OFF PROGRAM
The Leaf Drop-Off Program is for residents of the unincorporated
areas of Lake County, Indiana. The program begins April 2, 2012 and
continues until May 4, 2012. Material accepted for the program is
limited to leaves and twigs. Twigs shall not exceed 3 inches in
diameter by 3 feet in length. All material MUST be placed in brown
biodegradable yard waste bags. Residents are responsible for the
purchase of their own biodegradable yard waste bags. Residents can
drop off their bagged leaves and twigs to the following locations:
A. Schererville Community Center, 1515 W. Lincolnway, Schererville,
IN
B. Lake County Highway Department, Route 2 and 41, Lowell, IN
*This location Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
C. Calumet Township Multi-purpose Center, 1900 W. 41st Avenue, Gary,
IN
D. Lake County Fairgrounds, 889 S. Court Street, Crown Point, IN
