Date: March 11, 2010 Time: 10:30-12:00 Location: Enviroroom Target Age: Kindergarten-3rd Program: Frog Math: Predict, Ponder, Play Description: In an artful interweaving of math and literature, the students will be introduced to the concepts of sorting, classifying, and graphing while developing strategic-thinking skills. Date: April 8, 2010 Time: 10:30-12:00 Location: Enviroroom Target Age: ALL AGES Program: 40th Anniversary Earth Day 2010 Description: Students will celebrate Earth Day by participating in games, reading stories, and discussing ways to help protect our planet. Please Register By: April 5th
Date: May 13, 2010 Time: 10:30-12:00 Location: The Environmental Education Center (located in Hammond across from Wolf Lake) Target Age: ALL AGES Program: Environmental Detectives: Who Polluted the Trout Stream? Description: Students will compile evidence, search for clues and interview suspects while conducting the investigation of who polluted the trout stream. Please Register By: May 10th
Date: June 3, 2010 ADDED SESSION Time: 10:30-12:00 Location: The Enviroroom Target Age: ALL AGES Program: Bubble-Ology! Description: Students conduct imaginative experiments with soap bubbles that introduce concepts of solid science, technology and math content. Please Register By: June 1st
