Appliance Recycling

Some, but not all, municipalities within Lake County offer Appliance Recycling drop-off programs. Due to the changing nature of these programs, we recommend calling your town’s public works to determine if you have access to an Appliance Recycling drop-off location.

Please be sure to contact the public works department of the town in which you reside, in order to determine if you are able to recycle your appliances.
You may also contact your town’s waste hauler for instructions on disposal.

Additional Appliance Recycling Options

NIPSCO provides an Appliance Recycling Program which will pick up and pay you for your appliance. Please visit nipsco.com/fridge for eligibility and rules.
