Household batteries can be taken to various locations throughout the county. Only household batteries are accepted through the LCSWMD program. No car, boat, sump pump, or larger batteries of any kind. Some larger batteries, including car batteries, can be taken to O'Reilly's or Auto Zone for recycling. Lead acid batteries are not accepted through LCSWMD's program.
