Worms in the Classroom Application
Join us for an environmental education resource day on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 9:00-11:00 am at the Environmental Education Center (8695 Broadway, Merrillville).
This special morning is your chance to:
- Learn about all the engaging environmental education programs available through the Lake County Solid Waste Management District, Lake County Soil and Water Conservation District, and Lake County Parks and Recreation
- Be among the first to register for 2025-2026 school year Field Trip and Enviromobile programs
- Visit the Reuse Room and stock up on free craft materials to kick off your school year creatively and sustainably
- Participants will receive 2 PGPs
- Door prizes will be awarded
Whether you’re a seasoned partner or new to our programs, this event is a great opportunity to connect, gather resources, and get inspired for the year ahead.
