Registration is FULL for 2025-2026 Enviromobiles. See you next school year!
Programs
Choose a variety of hands-on inquiry-based activities. Using teamwork, games and experience, students are challenged to recognize their role in building an environmentally responsible society. One program per year can be scheduled for your class or grade level. All programming is offered at NO COST to your school or organization!
7th grade – 12th grade: We would love to come to your classroom, too! Please contact us, and we will work with you to create a custom program for your class.
Litter Prevention
GRADE LEVEL: K-1st
Students take a close look at litter—where it comes from, where it goes, and how it affects our communities and environment. Through engaging activities, they practice simple ways to prevent litter and build a sense of social responsibility.
Build a Landfill
GRADE LEVEL: 3rd-6th
In this hands-on program, students construct a model landfill and explore each layer’s job. Together, we learn how good landfill design helps protect groundwater and keeps our environment cleaner and safer.
Journey of Natural Resources
GRADE LEVEL: K-2nd
Students follow the “life story” of metal, glass, paper, and plastic to discover which natural resources are needed to make everyday products. Along the way, they learn why recycling these materials is so important for conserving resources.
Healthy Habitats for All
GRADE LEVEL: 3rd-6th
Students discover easy ways to conserve water and energy in and around their homes while thinking about what animals need to thrive. They also learn how to spot household hazardous waste and choose safer options that protect people, pets, and wildlife.
Plastics Investigation
GRADE LEVEL: 3rd-6th
Plastic is everywhere! In this fun program, students transform into plastic detectives as they investigate and identify different types of plastic and how we use them. Fun experiments and simple tests reveal each plastic’s properties and how recyclable it may be.
Reinventions
GRADE LEVELS: 4th-6th
Students get creative by giving “throwaway” items a second life through fun, reuse-based design challenges. Working in small teams, they dream up, plan, and build new inventions using a variety of provided materials. By doing this, we rescue these materials from the landfill!
Recycle Right
GRADE LEVEL: 2nd-6th
Students learn how to tell what really belongs in the recycling bin and why sorting matters. Then they step into an interactive simulation of a material recovery facility (MRF), acting out how recyclables are sorted, baled, and sent on their way.
Vermicomposting: Worms in the Classroom
GRADE LEVEL: 3rd-6th
Classes adopt a worm compost bin for three months and welcome two Enviromobile visits—one to get started and one to wrap up. Educators teach students about composting, worms, and daily care, while classroom teachers oversee the bin between visits; because space is limited, participation is first come, first served at the discretion of our education team.
If you would like to apply for our Worms in the Classroom Traveling Compost Bin, please read the complete information and apply using our WIC application.
Compost Connection
GRADE LEVEL: 3rd-6th
Students learn what compost is, why it’s so useful, and how it can be made from simple table scraps. Together, they build a model earthworm bin using toy worms to see how organic waste can turn into rich, healthy soil.
Lessons from Ladybugs
( Aug, Sept, May only)
GRADE LEVEL: K-2nd
Students will discover how ladybugs grow, what makes up their little bodies, and why they’re important for the environment. They’ll also find out how harmful chemicals affect insects—and learn about a kid-friendly, bug-safe alternative. Each student gets to meet a live ladybug and help send it off into the wild!.
