Due to the current health situation, Center for Disease Control (CDC) information, Indiana Governor Holcomb’s actions and directives, and in the best interest of the health and safety of Lake County residents and Lake County Solid Waste Management District employees, the Lake County Solid Waste Management District is temporarily suspending its Programs for the collection and recycling of electronics, tires, and batteries.  The District is respectfully requesting that Lake County residents continue to hold on to those items until the District’s Programs resume.  The District will continue to keep residents informed of the status of these Programs.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.  Be safe.
