Recycle at the Curb

The Lake County Solid Waste Management District does not provide curbside recycling service.  However, all residents should follow basic recycling guidelines for recycling household recyclables in their curbside bins.

  • Paper, cardboard, metal cans, and plastic bottles and jugs can be recycled curbside
  • All recyclables should be empty, clean, and dry (and free of food residue and liquid)
  • Don't bag your recyclables.  Plastic bags do not belong in your curbside recycling bin.
